About a Lanternist is a short documentary on Vancouver based artist, Ruth Scheuing and her work carrying on the legacy of her husband through the magic lantern.
This documentary is not only my attempt to mediate her story and illustrate the level of care she has for this instrument but also an attempt to capture the wonder and magic of the early projection device.
I've yet to share this documentary and hope to do so some time in the future. =)
